|Splat Space is a work, play, and hobby space where people with common interests, primarily in technology, can meet to socialize and collaborate. We are a non-profit, member-driven organization. We're located at 331 W. Main Street in Downtown Durham, and we have weekly open houses every Tuesday at 7pm. All are welcome!  We are new but growing quickly.  Members have a wide variety of interests from building 3D printers and CNC milling machines, to Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, to Steampunk art.  We focus heavily on education and do a lot of work with a local middle school, as well as offering a wide variety of classes and workshops at the space.

Revision as of 14:05, 16 November 2011

This is a new page, give us awhile to work on it. Right now we are focusing on the links, supporting data should come in time.

These are various links to hacker ( in the sense of open source hardware hackers and DIY types ) spaces and groups. Most are non profit orginizations. If you are a member of a hacker space or group that is not listed please add it. If we have errors please fix. The listings here should be short and link to the orgnizations sites. If the orgnizations support OpenCourseWare or have Wiki's we will try to have a link to them as well as the home page of the orgnization.

This page may be too close to *List of Hacker Spaces More complete than this, do they get into OpenCourseWare? and will perhaps be merged into their wiki.
