PDA: "personal digital assistant". Also called palmtop computers.
Will there be an open hardware PDA? Or will Open Mobile Gadgets jump right to a cellphone-plus-PDA functionality, completely skipping the PDA-alone stage?
... I suppose that the open-hardware Music Player and the tiny pocket-size motherboards that run Linux could all be considered a kind of "palmtop computer", even though most of them don't yet have all the functionality of a typical "PDA", much less cellphone-plus-PDA ...
